Wild boar is about as far from standard pet food as a protein gets. Most dogs have never encountered it, which makes it one of the more genuinely novel options in the range — relevant if you have exhausted the more common novel proteins and are still working through a sensitivity, or if you simply want a rotation treat that offers something different.
The composition is leaner than you might expect: 37.9% crude protein and 23.4% crude fat — slightly lower in fat than the venison strips, with a notably higher ash content of 25.21% which reflects the natural mineral content of the whole-animal source material. That is not an additive. It is what wild-caught boar contains.
Flat strip format. Something to work at. No fillers, no additives, nothing that needs explaining away.
Complementary feed. Not suitable as a sole diet. Always supervise your dog when feeding a chew.
